Old Pueblo Lapidary Club brings together people who share an interest in lapidary arts, jewelry making, minerals, geology and the natural world.
Old Pueblo Lapidary Club was organized in Tucson in 1970 to increase and share knowledge of the lapidary arts and related fields, including mineralogy, earth sciences, metalworking, creative design, enameling and engraving.
Today, the club welcomes beginners, hobbyists and experienced artisans alike with extensive club-owned facilities, shops and equipment, along with hands-on classes, open shop time, educational programs, meetings, field trips, a library and the club newsletter, Cutting Remarks.
OPLC gives members opportunities to learn new skills, use specialized equipment, explore Arizona geology and connect with people who share the same interests.
